This instrument is: Extant and Playable in this location

Rhonda Sider Edgington on January 10th, 2023:

I played a concert there in August of 2022, and can attest that Don maintains the instrument impeccably, and has it played often.

Database Manager on November 7th, 2006:

This entry represents the installation of a 'new' organ which is the amalgamation of a 1923 Moller and a 1967 Casavant. Identified through on-line information from Don Wilson. The Casavant originally was built as their Opus 2951 (1967) for the University of Cincinnati.

From the RV Park website: "Did you know we have a pipe organ? The Lake Leelanau RV Park pipe organ has three manuals and pedals, and consists of 61 ranks, for a total of 3,503 pipes. The instrument is a combination of a 1923 Moller and a 1967 Casavant. The shortest pipe has a speaking length of 3/8 inch, and the longest is 16 feet. There are two blowers which provide air to the pipes."

"We have free pipe organ concerts on select days during the summer by guest organists. Visitors are welcome anytime to see the organ and attend concerts."
