In 2021, this former transept organ became the basis for a 'new' expressive Swell division for the 1986 Casavant at First Christian Reformed Church in Lynden, WA.

Updated by Sean Haley, who maintains the organ. The Gorman organ was removed in it\'s entirety including the cantilevered pedestal it sat upon. The transept was restored to it\'s original appearance. The cathedral hopes to install a new instrument in the gallery replacing the original worn and unusable Kimball.

Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ is installed on a ledge in the front, right corner. In 1983, Balcom and Vaughan of Seattle added an 85-pipe, 16-8-4 Trompette unit. In 1994, the Cathedral purchased dual custom Allen organs which control the gallery Kimball, the chancel Gorman pipe organ, and Allen electronic registers. Pipe-related work was reportedly done by Lauck Pipe Organs of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
