Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- On-line church history states that the 2nd church was built 1849-51 on the site of the 1st church - which was damaged twice by storms. When the 3rd (and present) bldg. was built, the 2nd one was sold for $8,000.00 - but the pipe organ, bell, and pews were reserved.
