After stopovers in South Orange and Plainfield NJ, the console eventually went to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Shadyside, Pittsburgh PA, where it was installed and is still in use.


Database Manager on September 19th, 2018:

Property sold in 1969; the organ was dispersed and the building demolished.

Identified through information adapted from E. M. Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner Opus List, by Sand Lawn and Allen Kinzey (Organ Historical Society, 1997), and included here through the kind permission of Sand Lawn:
Replaced 1904 four manual Hutchings-Votey, #1536; church closed; sold to Robert Turner; fifteen ranks in #762; console to Our Lady of Sorrows, South Orange, NJ which was replaced by Schantz and purchased by Karl Loeser, Plainfield, NJ.
