The fate of this organ was reported in a brief notice in The Stopt Diapason:
The Lyon & Healy tracker organ, Opus 192 of 1905, in St. Patrick’s R.C. Church, Merna, Illinois, a stock-model 2-manual, 7-stop instrument for which a brief description and a stoplist was given in Issue Whole No. 7 of The Stopt Diapason, was destroyed on Tuesday, August 24, 1982 when a tornado that swept McLean County demolished the church. The church had recently been renovated and redecorated, and the organ had just been refurbished by Jack Becker of Peoria, Illinois. Unfortunately, the Chapter is not aware that there are any photographs of that organ. If any reader knows of their existence, please inform one of the officers. Thank you very much.
