Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the refurbishing, augmentation, and installation of a used Johnston organ from the Nelle Kennedy Clark residence in Portland, Oregon. It had been a 2/7 there. For St. Stephen's, the Swell had an 8' Voix Celeste and 8' Oboe Horn added - pipes made by the Organ Supply Corp. The windchest for these new registers was new. The shutters were Morton. The original console was replaced with a new Balcom and Vaughan console. Disposition of the original console is not known. The organ was replaced by a new 2/9 Vermeulen tracker in 1972 (which see). Disposition of the Johnston is not known.
