Database Manager on October 20th, 2009:

Updated through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- The Choir and Swell are on the left chest; the Great and Pedal are on the right chest. The console is a 1963 Austin console. The Swell has an unlabeled stop which is the Pedal Bourdon 16 to Swell. The standard divisional cancel bars are present over the stopkeys of each division.

Database Manager on May 14th, 2007:

Identified through on-line information from Jeff Scofield. -- When Aeolian-Skinner replaced the Tabernacle organ, one of the two Austin consoles was moved to the practice room along with the Austin universal windchest that had served the Tabernacle Echo organ. Pipework of unknown origin was utilized. In 1963, two new three-manual consoles were ordered: one for the Assembly Hall Kimball and one to replace the old practice room console. In 1980, new studios were created and the console was fitted to new chests and pipework by Austin. The Assembly Hall Austin console now plays a Schoenstein practice organ at BYU.
