Updated through online information from Gary Jones.
Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ was originally built for the Marion Theatre in Marion, Ohio. It was a 2/8 there with a 6-rank main organ and a 2-rank Echo organ. Why it was removed in 1930 is unknown. It was reinstalled in Birmingham by Kimball. The Echo division was removed, and the original Kinura was replaced with an Orchestral Oboe. In 1953, the radio station moved and purchased a new Hammond. An executive with the station was a member at Southside Baptist Church, and arrangements were made to donate the organ to the church for installation in one of the auditoriums.
