Database Manager on January 6th, 2006:
Updated through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- As originally conceived, one manual division was to have been in a case in Ruckpositiv position on the gallery rail, but this was changed in favor of housing the entire organ in one main case, with the expressive Recit behind the Grand Orgue. Also, the second Pedale stop was originally an 8' Violoncelle, but it proved to be less-than-ideal, and was subsequently replaced by the builder with a 16' Basson.
