Under construction late in 1970, the organ was shipped on 1/15/71, (one of four organs installed by Schlicker in Minnesota in 1971), and first played on March 7, 1971. Prof. Gerhard Krapf of the University of Iowa played the dedication concert on May 2, 1971 performing works by Bach, Buxtehude, Clerambault, Boyce, Messaien, Brahms, and Krapf.
