Updated through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ is a gift in memory of 18 year-old Mark Johnson by his parents and brother -- Eric, Linda, and Wade. Mark was accidently killed in a hunting accident on November 9, 1980. This is the second Kenneth Jones tracker to be installed in Alaska, and it is the northern-most tracker-action pipe organ in North America. The organ was shipped in August 1985. The dedication was held September 1985. The case is of American white ash. The façade is 7-sectional containing 18 pipes of the Great 8' Principal arranged: 3-3-3-grille-3-3-3. These façade pipes are of flamed copper; the manuals are reverse color.
