Database Manager on October 11th, 2007:

Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The builder did not use opus numbers to identify his work, but the catalog number S-142 was assigned to this instrument by Elizabeth Towne Schmitt and may be used for reference. (OHS PC Database. 2004-10-30) Relocated at an unknown date to the Greenbay residence of Gordon Griffith by an unidentified person or firm. Relocated a second time through the Organ Clearing House to St. Mary's in the Mountains R.C. in Virginia City, Nevada, where it was refurbished and installed by the Miller Organ Co. of Virginia City. The first 7 pipes of the 8' Open Diapason were of stopped wood and inside the case. The next 13 pipes (GG 8 - g 20) were en facade. Organ documented in Virginia City on May 3 & 7, 1994.
