Philip Bachman contracted to finish the instrument begun by Schneider in 1818. Rebuilt in 1845 for $1250 by Knauff. Rebuilt 1871 for $600. Replaced by 1877 Odell. Sold to Sevill Schonfield for $600. Possibly to Cotton St. Dutch Reformed.
Updated through online information from T. Daniel Hancock. -- On the website, "David Tannenberg, Organbuilder," Philip T.D. Cooper notes "Completion of an organ begun by Matthias Schneider in 1818."
Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This was a contract to complete an organ begun by another builder.
