Updated through online information from DAN TALBOT. -- I played many a wedding on this instrument. I remember it having a Moller plate on it, though, not a Kilgen. The old original wood frame church has been leveled and a modern church replaced it. The fire actually started in the organ loft. The organ blower was left on and overheated and set the building on fire. There was plenty of damage to the choir loft. The old building was used for a few years with the choir loft boarded up. So there was no way to get up there to check on the organ. I understand that it was very badly burned.
