Database Manager on November 17th, 2007:

Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The origins of this instrument are as yet unknown. Of the Wm. Wood theatre installations listed on the PSTOS website in ID, OR, & WA, five are unaccounted for and all 2/8 instruments: Sellwood Theatre (Portland); State Theatre (Portland); Majestic Theatre (Dallas); Hillsboro Theatre (Hillsboro); and Dalles Theatre (The Dalles). The organ was installed "as is" by an unknown person or firm. It was later moved to the new edifice by Balcom and Vaughan with a new standard church-style console.
