The Reiger Organ was built in Schwarzach/Vorarlberg, Austria by Herr Josef Von Glatter-Gotz. Herr Glatter-Gotz stated that he conceived and planned this design while a U.S.P.O.W. during World War II. The organ occupies under nine square yards of space. The pedal 16' pipes serve as a platform and base for the organ.

Updated through online information from Gregory Hamilton.
Database Manager on October 30th, 2004:
From Mary Hardin Baylor College, Belton, TX in 1955 for $6000. [Pape lists a 1955-58 instrument for Holy Cross, no mention of Baylor. Perhaps he only listed final destination.]
