Updated through online information from Paul Marchesano. -- Moller "accepted" Roosevelt Opus #475, built 1890 from this church and incorporated much of it in their new organ as Opus 5276 (wind pressure 5"). Contract price: $6500.
There is a typed stoplist from the Roosevelt organ included in the contract documents at the church. According to the contract, the following ranks were re-used in the new organ (stop names from Moller contract stoplist): Great: Doppel Flute 8, Dulciana 8, Viole d'Gamba 8; Swell: Bourdon 16, Violin Diapason 8, Vox Celeste 8, Oboe 8; Choir: English Open Diapason 8, Concert Flute 8; Pedal: Bourdon 16.
The organ was rebuilt with tonal additions/alterations by a local builder, 1988, leaving original console in gallery, installing a new, 3 manual drawknob console in the front on the church to the right of the sanctuary.
The Oboe was replaced with a "Trompette 8". Additions to Great: Octave 4, Super Octave 2, Mixture III. Separate entries will be created for these organs.
Identified from factory documents and publications courtesy of Stephen Schnurr.
