I serve as Minister of Music & Worship at First United Methodist Church in Bryan. After an electrical surge from lightning several years ago, the organ was upgraded in 2019-2020 with new power supplies, digital recording equipment, its own modem, and new fiber optic cable from the gallery organ in the balcony to the console to prevent future problems. The instrument is in excellent condition and is well maintained. The congregation is blest by the music of the organ every week!!

Identified through online information from Stephen Hall. -- Information from article in the Houston Chronicle, dated Dec 31, 2007. Garland is quoted "I was thrilled to find some Hook pipes in the previous [Reuter] organ, [...] These pipes probably came from the original organ in the old church building."
