James R. Stettner on February 7th, 2022:
This entry represents the first installation of a new pipe organ; identified from the Hinners opus list. The city listed on the opus list is Dennison. According to an online church history, *"Urland’s pipe organ was purchased in 1909 for $1,200 and is still in use."* The organ was originally hand-pumped, but the history again tells us, *"In 1939 the organ was electrified, before that it had been pumped by hand!"* [Ed. Note: the playing action was not electrified - just the wind supply].
