Present case from North Christian Church New Bedford, Mass. Originally Thomas Appleton 1838. Organ and case enlarged by George Pierce ca. 1895 organ moved to front of church. Moved to Middle Street Christian Church New Bedford about 1920. Case or entire organ relocated to St Joseph Newport sometime in the 1940s. Note: This is not the 1841 Appleton that was moved from New Bedford to Zion Episcopal - later St Joseph's original building and now Jane Pickens Theater.
