Database Manager on April 12th, 2008:
Identified through on-line information from Stephen Hall. -- 1925 Henry Pilcher organ originally built for Mississippi Woman's College (later William Carey College). Put in storage in 1940, installed in present location in 1965. Organ has all new chests, rebuilt console, additional ranks of pipes and digital extensions added by Pipe Organ Specialties. Rebuilt organ to be dedicated April 20, 2008. [Information from church website (www.fbcphilly.com) and from an article in the "Neshoba Democrat" dated 4/9/08.]
