Database Manager on April 30th, 2008:
Identified through on-line information from Eric Geoffroy. -- Rebuilt by Raymond Whalon in 1950 Theatre console was cut down from 4 manuals to 3. Wrap around bolster rebuilt as more traditional liturgical design. Organ is located in four chambers in the balcony An accurate listing of ranks and stops is problematic because a. Many prepared stop tabs exist which were never added. b. The chests are heavily unified. c. The organ is silent <br>HISTORY Maintenance ceased in 1967 Organ student removed pipes and swell shutters in 1988 Pipes were restored but not shutters, same year Blower was removed by Fr. Santilli to enlarge men's room. 2001 Organ fund is misappropriated and disappears in 2003 New blower acquired by private donor in 2007 Current status Documentation attempted by builder and volunteer in 2007 Electrical service to choir loft is not sufficient to power new blower.
