Updated through online information from Kristina Powers. -- Organ relocated to Providence Methodist Church in Charlotte, NC.

Updated through online information from William Dunklin. -- An article in the online Washington Post, February 28, 2009, called "Kennedy Center Needs a New Pipe Organ" by Anne Midgette, details in layman's terms the numerous problems with the Skinner and the decision to replace the ailing instrument.

Updated through online information from William Rowland. -- This organ has been severely water damaged and recommendations by the Dobson firm were that it be replaced because it is beyond normal repair.

Identified through information adapted from *E. M. Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner Opus List*, by Sand Lawn and Allen Kinzey (Organ Historical Society, 1997), and included here through the kind permission of Sand Lawn: Installed in 1971; extant with slight mechanical and tonal changes; Pedal reeds replaced in 1975; console rebuilt by Lawless & Associates in 1993; minor tonal changes by Lawless & Associates in 1992-93.
