Stephen Eaves on July 11th, 2023:

Building renovated in 2012 as the McAfee Concert Hall, Belmont University School of Music

Database Manager on April 14th, 2013:

Updated through online information from Jeff Scofield. -- Once the largest Southern Baptist Church in the state, the church buildings were sold to Belmont University in 2003, though the congregation still met there; the sanctuary was extensively renovated to become the McAfee Concert Hall; the Milnar Organ Co. removed the organ, renovated it with limited tonal changes ["We took an edge off the mixtures and high pressure trumpet"] and reinstalled it in the finished space.

Database Manager on July 4th, 2008:

Identified through information adapted from E. M. Skinner/Aeolian-Skinner Opus List, by Sand Lawn and Allen Kinzey (Organ Historical Society, 1997), and included here through the kind permission of Sand Lawn:
Extant; unaltered.
