This organ appears on the Möller lists as Opus 1043; Opus 1046 is listed for Charlotte, North Carolina.

Database Manager on July 8th, 2008:

Identified through information received from George Bozeman via e-mail -- $700 from Carnegie grant. opening recital by Everett Hall of Bangor Me with Miss Margaret Ross, soloist of Bangor. Church was known as Disciples of Christ when organ was installed; it is now Congregational Christian Church. Organ has Möller tubular-pneumatic membrane chests which are notorious for not working, but this organ has never been releathered and still works almost perfectly, with one dead note in the Pedal stop. It appears to have never been hand pumped but has feeders that were operated by a water motor. There is a wind indicator dial and a crescendo indicator dial The crescendo pedal is on the left(!) and balanced swell on right, centered on pedal board. There are two pistons for Swell and Pedal, and two for Great. They are set by drawing the desired stops and pulling the appropriate 'Adjustable Comb.' knob. There is also a Great to Pedal Reversible Pedal which does not work because the rod connecting the pedal to the reverser mechanism is missing.
