Identified through on-line information from Patricia E. Harding. -- This organ is in its original location in the Notre Dame College "Christ the King" Chapel choir loft. It was dedicated on January 23, 1930. An information sheet about the rebuild [in 1977] Holtkamp gives it a year of "1929"; it was installed and dedicated on the college campus in 1930. It was built here in Cleveland, Ohio. It was tuned and maintained by "Rudy" of Holtkamp (evidently Rudy was quite a legend), for many decades. The great, swell and choir wind chests were repaired in 1977 ("rebuilt, 1977") by the Holtkamp Co. The organ was rededicated on Sept 11, 1977; the organist performing that day was Karel Paukert. It is often played.
