From the Exeter Advocate (November 29, 1888): "The new organ which has just been erected by Messrs. Ed. Wadsworth & Bro., of Montreal, has been placed in position. It is a very handsome instrument containing the following stops ... the organ is not intended to be complete when opened, but preparation has been made for the addition of five additional stops which can be added at any time. The cost of the instrument is $1,530. It will be tuned and finished the second week in December by which time the church is to be completed. We understand that Mr. Wadsworth, the builder, will preside at the instrument at the opening service."
