Database Manager on September 15th, 2008:
Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the rebuilding on new chests of the existing 1901 Hook & Hastings, Opus 1906. The Hook case was retained but also widened at this time which obscured two of the four chancel windows. This organ was replaced in 1986 by a transplanted E. & G.G. Hook (Op. 371, 1865)) installed by the Andover Organ Co. inside the original and restored 1901 H&H case. Source: Andover Organ Co. files accessed in 1988.
