Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the first edifice of the congregation that would become First Congregational of Rockland, MA. The Richards organ reportedly cost $600.00,and was delivered to the church on an ox cart. It was likely located at the front since the rear gallery was designated for slaves. Source: church history.
