Database Manager on October 1st, 2008:
Identified through on-line information from Katherine Crosier. -- Opus 342 is one of three identical organs produced by Rudolf von Beckerath Orgelbau in 1998. This particular instrument was exhibited at the AGO National Convention in Denver, then spent time in organ shops in New York and Tokyo. It was loaned to the church in 2000 by Anthony Meloni, the US representative for Beckerath, for its performances of Bach's "St. Matthew Passion." It was then shipped to Seattle for the AGO National Convention, then sent back to Honolulu where it was purchased by the Lutheran Church of Honolulu.. Transposable, to A=415 and A=465. Split keyboard.
