66 members of Portalhurst voted with 19 members of Chinatown Presbyterian to merge and form Covenant Presbyterian in 1996; roof blown off the sanctuary in 2002, but evidently repaired; further weather damage rendered the sanctuary unusable in 2011 and services were moved to Portalhurst Hall; the organ was offered for sale via the Organ Clearing House in 2018.
