This instrument is: Extant and Playable in this location

Database Manager on December 23rd, 2008:

Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The organ is installed in a central chamber in the rear gallery. The Open Diapason unit is unenclosed out front. The console was centered below. In the 1960's, an independent 2' Principal was added to the Great and also playing as a tenor C 4' Principal on both manuals. The organ was described in the Balcom and Vaughan files; I documented the extant organ April 3, 1992 and updated my notes in April 1997.
