Identified through on-line information from Monty Bennett. -- This is the church I grew up taking organ lessons in, then later became the church organist through high school. The Murray Harris organ was installed in St. Joseph's Church in the early 1920s after a disastrous fire. The Harris organ was originally installed in a seminary/college chapel in Santa Clara, CA. In 1980-1981, the late Bob Newton (Newton Pipe Organ Service) and his staff Roger Inkpen and Steve Leslie rebuilt and enlarged the organ to the design of the late Bill Bagileo. The solo trumpet stop is named Trompette de Bagileo in his honor.
