Updated through on-line information from Jeremy Wance. -- The organ was donated by Judith Finn to the American Organ Institute at the University of Oklahoma. It is currently undergoing a complete restoration in the Institute's shop and will be installed as a practice instrument.
On-line update from Daniel Schwandt -- Originally purchased for $1,500.00 by St. Paul's Lutheran of rural Hull, IA. Building sold in 1960 and the entire building, contents and all were moved 20 miles into the town of George, IA to become the Vogelaar Funeral Home. Business and building consequently sold to John Bolin. Organ sold in 2004 on ebay for $1,025.00 to Judith Finn of Tulsa, OK. Currently in storage and undergoing restoration in Bloomington, IN by John and Daniel Schwandt. (Judith Finn is John's mother in-law, and George, IA is the hometown of the Schwandt's mother Gwen (Krahling) Schwandt). The organ was installed against the front left wall of the church so a new matching left casework was constructed to allow freestanding placement in it's new home. Casework fabrication carried out by Arthur Rinderkneckt of Atkins, IA.
Status Note: There 1996.
