The dedicatory recital was played by Hans Fagius on September 20, 1987. The following Sunday, September 27, a performance of the Poulenc and Rheinberger concertos was given with James Callahan as the organist, with a chamber orchestra conducted by Merritt Nequette and Robert Strusinski.
