The dedication recital took place on October 22, 1989, when David L. Beyer, designer and pipe voicer for the builder, was the organist. Ruth Stenson is the principal parish organist, and the pastors are Harold Ovre and Philip Larsen, who was baritone soloist in the dedication recital. The choir director, John Pederson, was trumpeter for the inaugural program.
Mechanical action was used for the manuals, stops and couplers, while the pedal action is electric. The front shades are controlled by a balanced pedal, while the rear shades are operated by a hitch-down treadle. The tuning is in a well-tempered system after Valotti, and the wind pressure is 85 mm. The Bourdon, Viola, Celeste, Oboe and Pedal Principal unit were revoiced from the previous organ (Möller, 1952, Op. 8580).
