Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ was originally built in 1967 for St. Paul United Methodist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. The organ was removed from that church in 2000 by a crew from Ruffatti, packed in a shipping container, and shipped to Italy for restoration. The organ was cleaned, all chests releathered, some ranks rescaled, other ranks switched between divisions, some new pipes added, a new facade created, and a new Rodgers custom console was provided. Provisions were made for the future addition of a 2nd console to be placed on the main floor of the nave. The organ has 49 pipe ranks and 2 digital ranks (the two Pedal 32' stops). The dedication concert was given on Friday, September 12, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. by guest recitalist Paul Jacobs.
