Database Manager on July 9th, 2009:

Identified through on-line information from James R. Stettner. -- This organ was originally built for Marvin Methodist in Tyler, TX. It was replaced in 1942 after a sanctuary rebuild, and was given to Samuel R. Greer of Tyler, who in turn, gave it to this church. It may not have been installed until 1961. But in 1961 it was at least rebuilt by Herman Boetcher of Dallas with his two sons, Carl and Dan, and was ready by Sunday, July 30.
