Database Manager on July 30th, 2009:
Identified through online information from rick maryman. -- Rebuild of transplanted Skinner organ by a former employee of Lewis and Hitchcock when Messrs L&H were alive and running the Co. Tonal changes were made, but are reversible; original pipes are stored (or were on my last visit) in the church building as are toeboards and racking. Other alterations have been made to the organ after my last service visit several years ago...cannot elaborate, sorry. Swell and Choir expressive, Great non expressive, harp present, but never rebuilt in Choir, chimes action replaced with Peterson all-electric action, original bells (tubes). Couplers on nameboard not affected by c/a.
