Updated through online information from John Igoe. Web page describes the December 2016 removal of this instrument. AB Pipe Organ is building a large, complex electric-action organ for a new church under construction for St. Pius X parish in Granger, Indiana. The Holtkamp pipework will be incorporated into the new instrument at Granger.
Last played December 27, 2015; the pipework is going to St. Pius X Parish in Granger, Indiana; the console will be moved to the Basilica's small museum.
Updated through online information from Stephen Hall. -- A photo on the University's website dated May 2014 showed the Holtkamp organ as being there at that time. The case work is much darker than the original installation photo on the Holtkamp website. The organ is to be replaced by Paul Fritz Opus 37 in 2016.
Identified through research conducted by Sand Lawn, courtesy of David Scribner.
