Database Manager on November 7th, 2015:

Updated through online information from Donald C Anderson. -- I purchased this Holtkamp Continuo, job #1726 from the University of California-Berkley about two ago on Public Suplus for $500 and am going to pick it up and bring it to my home in Auburn, CA the week of 9 November 2015, re-assemble same and try to get it working again . If anyone has any photos or other data on this organ, I would appreciate if you would email them to me @ 25eagle@wavecable.com. My cell number is 530-906-6322. I have been in touch with Chris Holtkamp regarding this organ and he has been very helpful. Thank you, Don. Donald C Anderson

Database Manager on December 24th, 2008:

Updated through information published in John Ferguson's Walter Holtkamp: American Organ Builder (DMA treatise, Eastman School of Music, 1976). Although neither Votteler-Holtkamp-Sparling nor their successor Holtkamp Organ Co. assigned Opus numbers to their instruments, this organ was identified in factory documents as Job number 1726. That number appears here as the Opus number of this instrument. Continuo
