Database Manager on December 24th, 2009:
Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This was the installation in 1876 of a second-hand Garrett House organ originally built in 1864 for the Sacred Heart Chapel of Notre Dame University in South Bend, Indiana. Housed in a 3-sectional case with 22 pipes en façade arranged: 7-8-7. Organ later renovated by Kimball, who also replaced the original water motor with a blower. House casework retained to house 1927-28 Skinner. Disposition of windchests, pipes, etc. unknown.
