A three-manual organ has been installed by Casavant Freres, Ltee., in the new convocation hall of Mount Allison University, Sackville, N.B. The organ is located on an elevation at the rear of the stage. Lawrence L. Phelps, tonal Director of Casavant, designed the instrument in consultation with Allison Patterson of the faculty of music. The installation of the organ was under the supervision of Ben Evers, Casavant representative in New Brunswick. -- Information from The Diapason, January 1968.
