organ needs major rebuild and is unplayable; new electronic located in chancel; chancel pipe organ has a portable 1m keyboard; i was instrumental in proposing significant changes to the design/specs in 1972 when i was only a senior in hi school;
original plans = swell holzgedeckt 8, gemshorn 8, gemshorn celeste 8, principal 4, koppelflute 4, octavin 2, larigot 1-1/3, scharf II, krummhorn 16, trompette 8;
choir rohrflute 8, viola 8, viola celeste 8, spitzflute 4, nazard 2 2/3, flageolet 2, tierce 1 3/5, oboe 8, vox humana, 8
great originally trumpet 8 revised to paulistenposaune 8 and prolly built by stinkens who supplied all metal flue pipes
the sound is very gentle; full organ is mezzo; underscaled principal 8 on gt voiced fluty; scharf iii in sw cuts glass starts at 2/3'; sw trompette is trivo and magnificent; sw krummhorn 16 is very diminutive yet full sw with box shut and reeds is thrilling; holloway slider chests work ok with the plenum but reeds added coz a drop in wind pressure and an undesirable pitch instability; organ has 47 rks and is prolly the largest in warren ohio; was donated by a single donor; brandon woods was a holloway installer in 1973 and is now chief voicer and executive board member of goulding and wood
