According to the contract between Edward Lye & Sons and C. Kohler, Esq., Cayuga, Ont, the cost of the organ was $850, "purchaser to do necessary teaming from R.R. station to the church." There was to be a "case of chestnut finely finished, front speaking pipes decorated or in plain gold ... Organ as arranged so that 15 lower pedal pipes may be used from lower manual when desired."
