Database Manager on April 21st, 2010:
Identified through online information from Chad Boorsma. -- The organ was originally built in 1930 and was installed in the Cathedral in 1957. Rebuilding of the organ was part of the Cathedral's renovation project in 1967. The instrument was relocated to the rear gallery, a new electric action console was designed, the organ rebuilt, pipes reconfigured, and new blowers installed for around $32,500. The organ was rebuilt again in 1997 by Fowler Organ Company.
