The congregation moved in 1973 to a landmark building in Bloomfield Township and the Woodward Ave. building was sold to Breakers Covenant Church, which became Bethel Community Transformation Center. The sanctuary seats 1,600.

Updated through online information from Ron Yeater. -- This Casavant project was something of a stopgap; the original Hook & Hastings chests and action were retained. in 1937 the Wicks company rebuilt the entire organ with Direct-Electric action, retaining the Casavant drawknob console. There were only minor tonal changes. In 1974 the Temple moved to a new building in Birmingham, Mich with a new Wicks organ, leaving behind the old Temple and organ.
