Identified through online information from Chad Boorsma. -- The organ was built by Aeolian in 1929 for Grosse Pointe Memorial Church in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI. It was rebuilt by Casavant in 1949, moved to First Baptist in 1959 by an unknown builder. The work by Lauck included expanding the organ and giving it a brighter sound, installing a Peterson 32-level combination system, and moving the console out of the choir loft and onto the main floor. The Echo division is located at the back of the balcony. The church has been known as Christ Community Church since 2005.
