Database Manager on June 30th, 2010:

Identified through on-line information from Robert Knight. -- This organ was originally installed in 1923 in the Balboa Theatre. When the new Deluxe theatre was built in 1929, the organ was moved there by the Robert-Morton factory. The organ had some small additions and changes in the 1960's and 1970's. A comprehensive renovation is in progress. Significant additions are planned to enhance the organ's suitability for use in organ/orchestra repertoire. All original parts of the organ are being restored and preserved, with the exception of the relay.
