Database Manager on July 16th, 2010:
Identified through online information from Chad Boorsma. -- The organ was originally built by Wicks Organ Company in 1980 as their Opus 5785. The work in 1999 including changing the organ to solid state and tonal work, including revoicing. The console was upgraded further in 2001 by Lauck Pipe Organ Company when it received new drawknobs, keyboards, stop jambs, and woodwork. The organ was rededicated on May 2, 1999, as the Joseph A. Westdorp Basilica Memorial Organ, in honor of his 40 years as music director.
